TERMS AND CONDITIONS

Please read our terms and conditions and remember they have been developed to insure both parties are clear as to how bookings proceed. The contract is formed when Studland Sea School acknowledges acceptance of customers booking and payment. Taking part in outdoor adventurous activities has some risk of injury. Staff employed by Studland sea School are trained and have relevant qualifications to run activities. At all times staff will work in such a way as to reduce and limit the risk of injury. Customers must accept that due to the nature of the activities injuries and accidents may happen

 

Customers under the the age of 18 must have have parental or guardian written consent for their child to participate. The parent guardian has to be aware and accept associated risks of outdoor adventurous activities. The customer is responsible for looking after all equipment issued for the hire/activity. Studland Sea School may charge for lost or damaged with the exception of fair wear and tear. If hiring customers must agree and follow the conditions of hire.

 

Bookings are on the basis that the customer will observe all safety procedures/policies put in place by Studland Sea School. Studland sea school literature or website constitute an offer Studland sea school may correct any errors or omissions in it's published prices prior to confirming contracts in accordance with this condition, Studland Sea School's information is produced in good faith that it is accurate when going to press. Any up to date price list replaces all previous price lists. 

 
PAYMENT
 

The payment for a course/tour/hire is payable at the time of booking or a minimum payment of 50% can be arranged if a booking a bespoke booking for a large group, the remaining balance is due 30 days prior to the activity. If the balance is not paid Studland sea school reserve the right to treat the booking as cancelled by the customer.

   
CANCELLATION
 

Studland sea School accepts cash, cheques (payable to Studland Sea School) , credit cards  (Visa, Master-card, Switch, Delta & Solo.) We also take payment via money transfer. Whilst every effort is made to ensure courses/activities and hire go ahead in certain circumstances such as dangerous/unsuitable conditions or staff sickness cancellation may happen, activities will still run as scheduled if it is not sunny or if it is wet. Studland Sea School will inform the customer as soon as possible please ensure you have supplied a contact number we can reach you on. In the event of Studland sea school cancelling the following options will be offered.

 
-Full refund.
-Another booking on a different date.
Cancelation by Studland Sea School does not affect the right to a refund of travel cost's incurred.
 

The customer must cancel in writing via e mail to info@studlandseaschool.co.uk  all cancellations must be acknowledged by Studland sea school bookings remain live until the customer receives a response from Studland sea school. Customers who cancel prior to two weeks before event receive 100% of total fee. Customers who cancel in the two weeks prior to activity loose 50% of total fee. Customers who cancel in the week prior to activity or on the day forfeit 100%  of total fee.

 
MEDICAL INFORMATION
 

Customers taking part in courses, activities or hire must accept that exercise may be strenuous. Prior training may not be required however a good base level of fitness is required. The customer must be happy that the activity is within their capability. Studland Sea School reserves the right to refuse a booking on medical grounds if it is deemed to affect health and safety and the running of activity. This said we will actively work with our clients to remove barriers to participation where possible. All clients have to fill out medical questionnaires prior to activity.

 
BEHAVIOUR 
 

If a clients behaviour is affecting the smooth running of a scheme of work the client will be excluded and no refund given. If a client damages equipment etc. they will be charged accordingly. If a client is under the influence of drink or drugs Studland Sea School reserves the right to exclude them from any further activity. No refund will be given. Customers are expected to comply with all instructions and policies issued by Studland Sea School to ensure clients safety. Clients are also to act in their own instructors and fellow clients best safety interests.

 

Property owned by customers is the responsibility of the customer unless any loss or damage is due to negligence by the company or it's representatives.

 
COMPLAINTS
 

Studland Sea School will try and resolve any problems for the customer as soon as possible. If you have any complaints please raise it with the member of staff who is working with you or the director (Daniel Scott). PESRONAL INFORMATION
 

Studland Sea school often takes photos for the website and all forms of advertising and promotional literature. If you do not wish your photo to be used pleased let your course leader know and tick the no photo box on the medical form. Any personal information of the customer held by Studland seas school in it's original form or electronically helps Studland sea school to deliver a high quality service. By giving us this information you are agreeing that this data can be kept and accessed by company employee's. Your contact details will be used so we can keep you updated of our services. Copyright and all other intellectual property rights shall remain at all times property of Studland Sea School. The customer has no rights to these items unless given written permission by Studland Sea School.
